In Yemen, thousands are dead. Millions of civilians have been forced from their homes. Rates of gender-based violence have skyrocketed. And the country has experienced the worst Cholera outbreak in history. These are only some of the effects of the war the United States is funding in Yemen.
Ever since I joined Congress, I’ve been calling for the U.S. to end our illegal and unconstitutional involvement in Yemen. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get this far. Now we are closer than ever to ending our complicity in this humanitarian catastrophe, but we need a strong showing of people-powered for our War Powers resolution and our ongoing work for humane, progressive foreign policy?
